Yet, for some reason there is a certain curiosity or a reluctant interest. Most people quickly learn or know from the source what is coming from the grapevine, just plain rumor, hearsay, a gossipmonger, dirty laundry, busybody, blabbermouth, blither. blather, chitter, chatter. Which can be harmless enough but can turn idle talk, into malicious talk, slander to scandal, telling secrets. telling tales and the stories grow. Who do we believe? Who can we trust when insinuation becomes more than the truth to be known, but blatant spreading lies to purposely distort and confuse. Yet, can be used as a tool or means to disrupt and distort for their own purposes. For that is how they have learned to operate in their life–that works for them. There is no dignity, honor or respectability or even accountability for there is freedom of speech. That is capitalized to the extreme in their purpose. Making lies and speculations sensationalistic and profitable too.

We’ve lost our focus when gossiping is given so much credence and attention. More so than what is deserved or needed. It covers and smothers the real reason and purpose. Many times, prolonging the problem or agony makes it almost impossible to rectify the damages or harm done. For whatever reason not to be known. Many times the misguided, misinformed, misrepresented along with constant fabrication will further their cause to find ways to profit while disregarding and overlooking the truths in their pursuit of profit. Meanwhile, who is victimized and who has highly profited. And, it all started with a little white lie that piqued an interest and grew and the damage was done. The source or starting point was never known or discovered. The truths buried in the rubble of agendas. Waiting to be revealed.

There is no dignity in gossiping, serves no purpose except to get the attention craved in that moment followed by awkwardness, embarrassment and shame to all involved. Never questioning or knowing the source. Forever and always, lingers in the air, Never knowing who or why the fabricators will show up, or blow up to test the waters and strength of the scandalizer or scandlemonger or newsmonger distorting the truths or facts, embellished  in their own minds and to their satisfaction to reap the benefits. Bought from their shame and dishonor–never to be trusted. Yet, in today’s world of fast and faster information, It is almost impossible to prevent or correct, amend or even regulate. Man Made problems became profitable once more. Maybe, we will learn or can learn if we expose and discourage “all” gossip. And, teach the importance of knowing the truth in all matters. And, not be so immersed in sensationalism that isn’t real and never happened. That is living life on shaky grounds.
